NEWS - July 2009 - Revenue Canada gives our Foundation
Charitable Status. We have caught the vision of serving the
homeless of Toronto. There are numerous ideas
in the planning stages, but the goal is to start
a shelter in downtown Toronto. The first stage
of this project is to provide food services and
then grow into a full time shelter center.

One group of local Muslims took the charitable aspect of Eid to a whole new
level by making sure others don’t go hungry. As Eid celebrations wrapped
up at the Automotive Building at Exhibition Place on Sunday, members of the
Ansaar Foundation took their high spirits on the road and handed out hundreds
of meals to the homeless.
